The Flash

They have so many characters now it's hard to keep up with them all, plus they seem to have forgotten Joe and Mrs Joe just had a baby.

Episode 4 wasn't terrible like episode 3, just a bit dull. I didn't remember the villain at all but it's been seven seasons I guess. All the supporting characters just feel like they're standing around waiting to motivate Barry rather than living their own lives, but at least Iris got a chance to act a bit at the end.

Forgot it was on again, was watching the making of Loki, that at least was interesting.

Flash just seems like and old tired dog you can't bear to put down, but you know it's best days are behind them.

Yeah, I thought this episode was a bit better than the first 3. The Flash just isn't that good, but it has moments. I liked the freaky giant who smashed Barry. BARRY NEEDS TO BE SMASHED, OK.

I actually liked this one! The nightmare meta was different, and Barry didn't have to cry a lot, and Joe only thought Cecile's nightmare was a nightmare until the next day. It didn't take an entire season for Frost to tell Caitlin she wants to stay in a separate body! The nightmare effects were pretty great, imo.

I'm not sure why Caitlin wanted Frost back into her body anyway. Maybe she's a pervert.

This week's was weird: the time travel felt like they were trying to do Legends but it was nowhere near as good and I couldn't follow what was even happening by the end (why did everybody's clothes change?) Barry just randomly wakes up and everyone shrugs like it's no big deal. But the Chester stuff was the only time he's ever had a character moment so I supposed that's good.

For a while I thought we were going to get a remake of father's Day from doctor who, but getting to hug your dead dad one more time is cool too. It felt weird in the same week as Supergirl featuring just two main characters, that the same thing would happen here, probably a covid thing.

Chester's story was sweet.

Barry almost got through an entire episode without the mental anguish face!

When she first showed up, I thought she was the giant monster thing that attacked Barry. I can't remember what they call it.

It took Iris a really long time to figure out that Barry might have a problem living with a sentient force of nature that looks exactly like his dead mother.

I can't believe the one new character introduced in the episode turned out to be the mystery villain!

I was sure Kramer was evil, and Nora was Fuentes or Fuentas WHATEVER. OMG Nora is a murderer.
