The Birmingham Stallions (11-1, USFL Conference Champions) defeated the San Antonio Brahmas (8-4, XFL Conference Champions), 25-0, in the inaugural UFL Championship Game on Sunday night. The game had an attendance of 27,396 at The Dome at America’s Center. Birmingham, who claimed USFL Championships in both 2022 and 2023, have now won three straight league championships under head coach Skip Holtz. They have lost just four times over the last three years and have yet to lose in the postseason.

  • The Birmingham Stallions claim their third straight league title (2022 USFL Champions, 2023 USFL Champions, and 2024 UFL Champions). The team improves to 32-4 all-time under head coach Skip Holtz and is undefeated in the postseason (6-0) in the modern era of the franchise.
  • Birmingham scored the final 28 points of the USFL Conference Championship Game and all 25 points in the UFL Championship Game, scoring 53 straight points to finish the season.
  • The Stallions defense became the first and only defense to tally a shutout throughout the UFL regular season and postseason.
  • Quarterback Adrian Martinez finished with three total touchdowns (1 passing; 2 rushing), after posting 18 scores across the ten-game regular season. He was named the UFL Championship Game Most Valuable Player postgame.
  • Wide receiver Greg Jennings scored the game’s first points and his first touchdown of the year (regular season and postseason).
  • Birmingham linebacker Kyahva Tezino forced two fumbles, becoming the first defender in the UFL to record multiple forced fumbles in the same game. As a team, the Stallions forced three fumbles, recovering two of them.

Martinez led the league in rushing with 528 yards through the regular season. He was No. 3 in passing with 1,749 yards and tied for second in passing touchdowns with 15. He was also No. 2 in the UFL in total offense with 2,277 yards. Martinez was responsible for 18 touchdowns (15 passing, 3 rushing), which tied for most in the UFL.

Butler led the United Football League with 652 receiving yards on 45 receptions. His average of 14.5 yards per catch was also tops in the league. He ranked No. 4 in total receptions and was tied for No. 2 with five receiving touchdowns. He was tied for No. 6 in the league in scoring with 31 points (5 touchdowns, 1 1-pt PAT) and No. 7 in all-purpose yards.

Victor is recognized throughout the league for his sportsmanship and leadership on the field. Before the season, he was recognized by his Showboats teammates as a team captain. Victor started 9 of the Showboats’ 10 games and led the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. During the 2024 season, Victor was a regular participant in the UFL’s community initiatives both in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and Memphis.

Memphis Showboats wide receiver Daewood Davis has signed a contract with the National Football League’s Carolina Panthers. Davis, an All-UFL honoree, finished the 2024 United Football League regular season ranked No. 6 in total receptions with 41 and No. 7 in receiving yards with 446. His five touchdown receptions were tied for No. 2 in the UFL. Davis scored 31 points during the 2024 season (5 TDs, 1 1-pt PAT) to rank No. 6 in the league.

Davis was an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins coming out of Western Kentucky in 2023 and was waived after an injury in a Week 3 preseason game. This will be his second stint on an NFL roster.

The UFL announces its college draft class
The United Football League held its 2024 UFL College Draft, with each team selecting the rights to 10 players. All UFL teams will hold exclusive rights to the players selected in today’s draft until the player reports to the team.
