Here is what it looks like when the hillside is on fire.
Lightning strike.
It is not close to us
but we may have to evacuate if it gets too close to the road.
There are 2 fire crews here, which is unusual but possible since it is so early in the season.
Of course now Canada is on fire.
This is small in comparison to other fires around the nation.
Our skies here are hazy.

It is smoky this week.

When I do a "search google" for the mountain/water images Loch lomund Scotland comes up. But when I look up Loch lomund I would have to say it looks much prettier than where I am at.

You should just move to the Columbia River Gorge.

You could travel from Loch Lomond to Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British isles.

We are being evacuated due to fires near our access road. This is going to be a long week.
