Like I need a reason for that to happen.

I dunno, when the negative points thing was still on, I was going to take my sweet time. I can't concentrate when there's a tantrum going on.

Now we're back to square one with no points for posts. No reason not to make a run for 10K just to be a pain, but frankly I'm disappointed in this place right now. Cait was handling negotiations well for a while, but now they all seem to hope that the conflict will simply fade away.

If points are going to be tied in to forum functionality then they should definitely count in here. I'm not going to the Tea Room or somewhere just for points.

Yep, I did understand, and I'm not changing my mind. I agree the MF should not be singled out for no points. The other two spam forums, OK, but not the MF. It is unique in the annals of message boards and I love the humor in here. I don't think of it as spam anyway. I think of it as the best place to come when I need to laugh and have a good time.

But, no matter how I feel, I also see what the other admins are talking about. I don't agree with the solution, but I understand the problem that is trying to be addressed. It's a valid POV.

I'll keep on repeating my stand on it.. we'll see who blinks first.
 
So I have to take time from my posting in here to be an arcade geek or a beehive-wigged lottery junkie in order to accrue enough points to enjoy the features of the board like anyone else?

So glad my efforts are so appreciated. It's really not much of an incentive to continue in the same manner. That's not a threat, I don't play that way. It's just what it is.
