The Walking Dead season 6

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
It's back tonight, apparently!

WILL PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME TRUSTING RICK/RICK HAVE A HARD TIME TRUSTING PEOPLE?

I wonder what place they will find this season that looks like a safe haven but then because of the EVILS OF MAN they have to leave it?

They must have spent more money on that than on all six episodes of FTWD.

It was kind of annoying how they introduced a character who pointed out that Rick isn't right about everything, then killed him right away so that Rick can keep having his own way.

"It's a horn or something!" NO SHIT, GLEN.

There were a lot of zombies, but other than that I find TWD very cheap looking compared to FTWD. Maybe because of the drab colour palette. It always looks like it was found on a ropey old VHS tape.

It was ok. The flashbacks didn't really interest me, apart from the ones with the interesting character who was inevitably killed by the end of the episode. The use of flashbacks made me suspicious that they just didn't think the basic story of herding the herd was interesting enough on its own, so they had to infuse some false tension into it by showing everything out of order.

Rick is a dick.

I don't really get why Morgan was giving Rick disapproving looks when he killed the redshirt though. He didn't really have a choice there.

I think it was just a shock for him and Michonne. Like they said, it's how the world is, but that was a particularly shitty way to die.

"Hi, I'm a new guy who thinks Rick is wrong sometimes!" Dies instantly.

"Hi, Im a girl with big breasts who's never been seen before!" Dies instantly.

So they were eating Nicholas, not Glenn. That was obvious since they were pulling intestines out where Glenn's chest was. But how can Glenn actually escape when he's completely surrounded?

I thought that was the case too, but it's hard to tell for sure.

As far as escaping, I can't imagine anything short of a large explosion would distract them enough.

I saw someone say "ENID WILL SAVE HIM" but I don't see how she'd be anywhere near and how one teenage girl is going to fight off dozens of zombies.

There is evidence in the form of blurry pictures from later episodes that Glenn is still around, and he's listed on IMDB for later episodes. But I think it would be a very cheap ploy to make him survive that spot.

One theory is that he manages to squeeze under the big dustbin and just sticks around until the zombies go away.

Because zombies who could crawl under a tank will be flummoxed by a dumpster. There's also a semi-blocked stairway he could reach while all 200 zombies eat the one guy who's already dead. Like I said, they could make him survive, but it would strain even zombie show logic and cause permanent damage to the show. Can't play with people's emotions in such a hack manner and still retain the audience. It's bad writing.

Of course you guys know the next episode is all about Morgan, right? And then after that they'll probably do an episode where Daryl crashes his bike into a hippy commune and we finally find out his sexuality (he's a furry.) And then they'll do an episode where everyone misses Glenn and then in the episode after that he'll show up alive in the last five seconds. Then it'll be time for the Christmas break.

"Hey guys, I nearly got killed by a horde of zombies!"
"Wow, how did you escape?"
"Phew, well it's a long story... but"
"Oh ok, nevermind. It's nice to have you back."
