There is one good thing about ROTJ

Luke kicked some serious arse with his lightsabre on tattooine, sure we seen Jedi fighting sith, and Jedi fighting robots, but Luke was fighting people, left right and center, and holding his own.

The fights didnt seem chorigraphed to the point of been too perfect, it was just him slicing and dicing, and bouncing back the blaster bolts.

And that was cool

I always pay attention when he starts swinging the sabre around in that scene because it's something we haven't seen elswhere in the originals, yes. The sabre fights in the prequels are MORE CIVILISED.

But there's more than one good thing about ROTJ!

Yeah, the bit where Han tries to blow the fire out was cool

There are many things that are good about ROTJ. Basically the entire Luke arc is well done. It's just spliced with the stuff on Endor that kinda sucks. The Luke and Vader showdown is great, Sidious was great and the saber fight was good as well. Now, the duel wasn't as good as TESB and I have a problem with the fact that Luke seems to be using his anger to defeat Vader. Doesn't make that much sense to be honest, and it would of been better if he had beaten him with more composure and in a more Jedi way.
Though I guess you can't fully remove Anakins spirt from Luke so there is some argument for that.

ROTJ is a good movie, it's just not as good as the others. But the stuff on the Death Star is great.

The trouble is, I always felt disapointed at the lack of imagination that resulted in a new death star after the brilliance of ESB with no death star.

I think Luke showed what being a Jedi meant more than any other action in any other film.

Ok, he did give in a little to the dark side, but once he realised what he had done, unlike his father, he did make the right choice.

Which is why the contrast of Anakins fall is so much the more poigniant in ROTS.

But Luke had been raised by good people, Anakin had been raised by Jedi.

Which kind of shows the sith had a point.

Admiral Ackbar is good too.

No. Ackbar was pure hate. He used his Sith Powers to hide the fact that FISH NEED WATER TO BREATHE IN!

He had invisible water.

Mon Mothma liked a fish supper, and struggled to control herslef in his prescence.

Thats a horrible lie. We all know she, like all dirty hippies, was a vegetarian.

Many Bothans died for this information.

She was a piscarian and I'm prepared to go to the small claims court to prove it.

And you'll find a broadside of CANON kicking your ass.

Wedge lieks shooting things

he shot from the lip, just like ackbar with his huge fish lips. I tell you Mon mothma liked those lips

She liked dead bothans.

Maybe she ate them. The more I think about it the more i think she was a raging carnivore. She liked the meat in all our sandwiches

There was a rumour that Padme would grow up to be Mon Mothma. Also known as THE WORST RUMOUR EVER.
