Allow me to re-introduce myself to the forum after 18 years since my last post here with a comment on this thread.
I'm into Enterprise at the moment. I like that it presents itself as an early exploration Starship without all the bells and whistles of the generations to come. I'm at the end of the first season and they've used the transporter twice (if my numbers are correct) because they're afraid of it and they pushed the ship to the limit to get to warp 4.95 which was a new speed record at the time. I like the way they approach these new technologies with caution, that have become commonplace in subsequent generations. I hope they stick with it in the next 3 seasons.
