TNZ Changes rules......again (aka...no rules)

What did you expect, you barely give the place enough time for the paint to dry.

Then again, you started an obvious troll thread, it's not as if you were hiding anything, therefore everyone involved was a willing participant.

There were tons of threads in there today where serious discussion was taking place, it's not like the place was the zoo some people were making it out to be.

Most of those people in there don't even know you either, they were just going off what others said and whatnot.

The rampant paranoia in there reguarding trolls is laughable. OMG, a troll!!! makes teh evil troll go away, I'm scared!!!

It doesn't take much to be classified as a troll in the TNZ. All that is required is for a person to hold an unpopular opinion on any assortment of issues and that is quite enough for the spineless, snotty nosed individuals there to go whining to admin and mods.

I'm noticing a bit of this. I'm not saying everyone, but there are a few dedicated bitches.
 
It seems that while Bonger has done away with most rules in TNZ, what she has done instead is bascially eliminated the warns in the place and has replaced with it a popularity contest. Those who are not favored or popular have their TNZ privileges yanked.
 
Yeah...one of those mods who gets to make unilateral decisions to ban people was trolling his ass off over in WF yesterday....Garak.

Of course you can say it's payback...

however...

1) Mods are supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard.

2) UGO is a for profit company...I'm sure they'd appreciate one of their staff doing that...as I'm sure T'bonz would.

T'Bong doesn't seem to have a problem with it either. I'm not surprised that Garak is trolling away in WF. Mods at Trekbbs have never been known for practicing what they preach. T'Bong is a prime example of that.

First of all, stalker?

Second, just because they mod at trekbbs what's that have to do with their behavior elsewhere on the internet?

Third, Why are mods supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard? They aren't paid to be perfect, in fact, they aren't paid at all.

In fact, trekbbs mods get warned themselves.

You're just acting like a bitter cunt at this point.
 
So you don't believe that moderators or admins should act in the manner they expect everyone else to?

Isn't that kind of do as I say, not as I do?

Besides the point, I've always seen the mod staff in TNZ as pretty good. I think Frontline, Borg, and Garak do a good job in there. Are they gonna make everyone happy? Of course not.

You know as well as I do that half the people in that forum go out of their way to use the notify mod button as a weapon.

Just as I'm just as I'm sure a lot of people tried to use it against you when you trolled with your circular arguments when you would never give a straight up answer. And please, don't even argue me on that shit, I have eyes.

That looks to me as the big reason to take the rules away, it was obvious people were being bitches and baiting posters to break a rule in smallest of ways just so they could hit the NM button to try to get them kicked out of the place.

I can't disagree with you on the bulk of your post here. I agree that overall the mods at TNZ do relatively good job. But, I am also aware of certain individuals that are sheltered from the full magnitude of the rules that most others are held accountable too. Under the current system it is purely a popularity contest as to who is granted and remains in the TNZ. Those who post opinion's that match up with the majority of the members of that area remain, those who have the nerve to disagree with the majority of those who post there will be eliminated when it is convienant and the whiners reach a certain level.
 
The following is the entire problem with T'Bong's latest and greatest change that took her oh so long to come up with.

If the TNZ mods decide that you're in there for the sole purpose of stirring up trouble, they can boot you from the forum.

Basically what is being said in the above statement from Bongers right hand, left hand and secondary brain is that anyone who regularly posts topics and statements that are contrary to the opinion's of the majority and receives enough complaints from the majority, they are out.

I can't speak to the favoritism thing. I left TNZ the last time the rules were reinstated and just recently came back to being a full blown poster there with only occasional postings in between.

No, but he certainly can't use the Gray Room to entrap WFers on other sites and retain access to that forum.
