Troll Kingdom the RPG demo

The project that was aborted whilst still in the womb. Very time consuming...

10 minutes or so of gameplay. What's the catch? Well, you have to download 20 megs or so of support files to run it.

At the bottom you'll see "I agree." That's the runtime package required to run any games created with the program I used. The installer's in Japanese but I'm sure those 1-2 people interested in playing 10 exhilarating minutes will manage.

The actual demo can be found here:

Not even a demo. Had a lot of ideas for it but I chose not to go forward.

Enjoy.

I was fortunate enough to play this a while back and it is awesome. The potential is mind-blowing as well. But I know all to well that these things can suck literally years of time in the making and creating. You did a killer job on what there is though.

Everybody should check this out. It's guaranteed to bring a smirk to the face of anybody who posts here.

I have to agree, I was just playing with this earlier today. There is just something about that healing bong water that amuses me.

Looks spectacular, Mess, based on the vid caps. Very VERY fucking nice. I would be interested in playing a fully-developed game like this.

You could always try the 'demo' demo there. After installing those runtime files you'll never have to do it again.

The first few parts were the hardest to make (Finding and implementing that overworld, for instance) so it won't seem as populated as I would have liked. There's one town (TP/SF) and the outside world which wasn't completed. That's all there is, just so you know and don't send the QA dept. angry letters.

You didn't get a 'game over' or anything, I hope.. ?

No, nothing like that, he just voltaged me for 2900 health points and I only had like 100
