But, like I just said, people actually use/enjoy karma. And just because I want something doesn't mean that everyone else should have to change just because of me.

TK was more interesting when karma was off. There wasnt any lazy neg neg negging to piss ppl off. It had to be done by posting.

I dont start many threads either, but good posting in preexisting threads wont hurt. Ppl like Kerb have been replaced by ppl like Falcy. The threads are only as good as the ppl posting in them.

I dont agree. Being blasted far into the red puts karma out of mind. Theres no concern about getting pos or neg, and no thought of doing the same to/for other members with it being an inability.

HAVING negative karma could be compared to being apathethic, yes.

But WANTING it? No. I'm sorry.

Sometimes the ends do justify the means. Wanting to be blasted into the red doesnt necessarily have anything to do with caring about karma. It can be motivated with wanting nothing to do with karma.

Granted, true apathy is not giving a shit about where your karma might be, red or green, but being in the red seals the deal. It also has the benefit of having douche bags not negging you for hours everyday, because they are pissed off or bored trying to get a rise out of you.

Looking at it that way, being full red has nothing to do with karma. Its about not having your posts stretched out with multiple bars of green/red. Its also less strain on the server from being the target of countless pos or negs (if thats even a personal factor).
 
I actually have a dual that has the full bar of red karma.

I requested that this dual have red karma.

When I requested that, it was because I WANTED something.

Because I wanted something, I was not apathetic.

I see no problem with this wonderful idea. First, get rid of the eternally-standing TK tradition of having duals - One person, One Account. That way, people won't cheat their way into having karma they didn't earn.

That's the problem with kids these days, everything's handed to them on a goddamn silver platter.

Cheating is technically still earning it, as long as they don't get caught ;)
