Unintentional trolling

so here's my idea for what to do next:

tell him that courtney remembers him, and she is still disgusted and horrified by the thing he did. "she said you would know what she's talking about" will be the hook, i'm thinking.

whaddya think?

This is just too weird for me and it's almost like you are stalking me but I'm not going to be paranoid or anything

so do you want to call me on my cell phone?

Ohhh, the hopeless logic of a drug-addled mind. Guess he really isn't going to be paranoid. Yet.

Should work.

This kind of person is why con artists get away with so much. It is amazing what a person will offer you with very little in the way of prompting.

The guy is apparently a racist:

I would love to live in a community with like minded folk. I myself grew up in a polluted neighborhood in sandiego and now that I am about to have a child of my own, I do not want to subject my child the the filth of other races. I work with computers so unfortunately I have not yet found away to live away from the city and still support my family.

Yeah I here you.
I have honestly tried to give those people a chance but they shit everywhere they are. I was a network administrator of a black owned business, in the end they truly proved to me what they are, Pure Scum Bags. conniving, lying, filthy fucks. I will never trust or befriend another one again.

My girlfriend and I went to the movie tonight to watch Santa Claus 3 and I must have seen about 10 wiggers there. I hate them worse than I do anything as I consider them to be a true traitor to our race!

What a delightful guy this is.

Perhaps you're a black man facing the difficult road of mixed marriage with Courtney...maybe even considering adopting her children as your own.

Make him suffer.

This guy is going to have a serious meltdown at some point. Get his cell number. I have an idea for that - I don't need to know it.

Actually, it's a good idea to get his number, just in case this goes badly in the end.

Who knows what a piece of work like that is capable of.

Read my signature and comprehend.

Besides, racist dickwads who lie to the military about being gay to get out and then makes software that includes viruses as a special bonus deserve to be trolled until they scream and cry for mercy.

Hear hear, Tamar. I was mindin' my own business, and got told to "stfu n00b". Are we, as a community, going to let that sort of thing perpetuate on the internet?

first draft of my next pm:

okay drsketch, I was hesitant to contact you, but Courtney and I were talking and she spilled some stuff on me, and I had to say something. What is that shit about lying to get out of the military? There was also something that she wouldn't talk about... she said you would know the situation, and she's still pissed about it.

I also got the feeling from her stories that you're a racist. Well, as a black man who's already shit on every day (from both sides) for having a partner outside of my race, I'd really like to talk to you about your feelings. I didn't think it was such a good idea at first, but I think I should call you. Could I get your cell number? I'll pay long distance.

thoughts?

I didn't go to most of the linkys, but are you sure that Courtney would know about the military thing? Do the dates match up? Is that something she might not know about? The rest seems fine.

Yeah, dump the military reference. Odds are, she didn't know.

Keep the rest, but you may scare him off without getting his number here.

You may want to say you thought about it and maybe it is a good idea if you two talk and be certain if this is the same Courtney, get the number first preferably along with his name. Have that info just in case.

Then you can play it one of two ways depending on your situation Take the troll into the real and call the guy. Iffy, I wouldn't unless you are 100% sure of your ability to improvise quickly. You may not know enough about him to pull it off.

Preferably, once you have the number, you wait a day and tell him that you were going to call him, but Courtney was afraid to let you. Tell him she's scared because he has done some bad things and she's scared now something as real as a phone call has come up. She is also afraid he would hurt you both because of your mixed marriage...blah blah. You get it, I'm sure.

Remember..natural progression. Too much, too soon is a giveaway. Bits and pieces...try to think of how Courtney would really feel and imagine her POV. This is a deep trolling game that requires finesse and patience to pull off well. This guy has a temper so some care is also required.

Besides, the military thing is an ace in the hole. It is an illegal thing I doubt he wants to get out. If you can get his full real name...which could be accomplished by Courtney wanting to know for certain if he is the guy if you didn't manage to get it earlier with the phone thing...you will have something on him if he gets belligerent. Plus, with his real name there may be more to find out there to use in the game.

But then I thought that you may not be the dude she thinks you are, and she may not be the Courtney you're thinking of. I didn't think it was such a good idea at first, but I think I should call you. Could I get your cell number? I'll pay long distance. What's your name, that will probably help a good deal if there is confusion afoot.

sent - fingers crossed

oh snap, and oh well:

Hello,
It actually was different people. I contacted the 'Courtney' I thought it was and she does not even have a boyfriend. Sorry for the mixup. you should not name any names though, especially on the internet. you never know who you might be talking to.. Best regards to you though and if there is any software you need let me know.
Regards,

ho hum. at least i'm not in danger of losing my oink account. thanks for all the suggestions, tho, even though it looks like i over played my hand.
