It was very intense, right from the beginning. It's a very fair accounting of events. I really don't understand how it could be "too soon" for this movie, it's a shot in the arm of American pride and yes, every American should see this film.

The film is written and directed by Paul Greengrass, and is the first Hollywood feature film to focus specifically on one of the terrorist acts. It is reported as being improvised (rather than scripted formally) with reference to the published phone call transcripts as source material, and to be filmed using handheld cameras for immediacy (a directorial preference of Greengrass).

We know that it would be very unlikely for them to sprout wings and fly to safety, and also unlikely for their cell phones to function.
 
That fucking movie was moronic. I would like to kill whoever thought that stupid little gem up.

This film has re-energized me about the LIES and BULLSHIT we are being spoonfed about this event and EVERY OTHER FUCKING THING SINCE BUSH STOLE BOTH ELECTIONS.

The whole thing smacks of being geared towards generating even more flag sales and rallying the American people behind Bush's "wahr on tare". It's an election year after all. I wouldnt be a bit surprised to see a film about the towers in '08.

I saw it. The movie made me wish the events portrayed in the movie were the way things really happened. </indirect reference to govt conspiracy>

That one girl in the camo in that one control room brought my friend and I out of the movie every time she spoke. We refered to her as "Jar-Jar" and snickered heavily each time she was on. That one terrorist was cute!

I was dissappointed that they never went back to the characters on the ground, I found them to be the most interesting part of the movie.

The girl in the camo you're talking about...Played herself, she's not an actress she's the girl that was on the job that day.
 
I just don't think I can see it...it's hard enough seeing news footage from that day (for me at least).
