Wacky Reviews: Things He's Watched On Netflix

Bojack Horseman season 3 was pretty great! I thought it would be hard for them to keep up the standards of season two, bu they did it! I liked how they did different types of episode, most obviously the underwater episode. That was amazing. I liked the 2007 flashback too (Jessica Biel was finally in something good!)

Lots of funny moments throughout (the abortion song!), before it got heartbreaking in the last few episodes. It's kind of hard to see how the show can end without Bojack killing himself though?

Yes, I've seen all of it and it's very good. It's similar to Super 8 in that it's a story of kids investigating a monster in 1980s America, with a Spielberg/ET/Explorers/etc vibe. It's much better, though. The acting is excellent, the story is really well paced and the music needs to be released right now.
 
Tallulah - This movie starring Ellen Page premiered on Netflix today (I think it had a limited cinematic release too) so I watched it becuse I like Ellen Page. It was good. Ellen Page's performance is the heart of it and she was really really great in her every scene. She plays a homeless girl who steals a baby and you might think it would be hard to sympathise with her but Ellen will prove you wrong! Allison Janney was good too. Crazy Eyes from Orange is the New Black was in it and she wasn't crazy so that was a bit weird! And Angel from Dexter! Also Ellen was topless in it if that interests you, but that was only five seconds out of a near two hour movie and I'd actually forgotten about it by the end so that's a testament to how good she was in it.
 
As someone who watched all of Stranger Things today I will chime in and say that you could probably watch Stranger Things.
 
I watched all of Stranger Things. It was good. The child actors were great! I hope Eleven is still alive somehow?

When they were dropping the Millennium Falcon toy in one episode I kept thinking "stop, you'll break it!"

I liked how they kind of subverted the "jerk boyfriend" thing a bit where he turned out to be okay and the girl stayed with him instead of choosing the sensitive nerd boy like would usually happen?

Managed to watch half the episodes of this last night and I gotta say, this show kicks ass. Gonna finish it tonight. :)

I'll probably watch that as well. I love time travel movies and TV shows like a fat boy loves cake.
 
I always had more of a savory craving than a sweet craving. Frying things up and making them "parmagiana" turned me into a fat boy more than any cake ever did.
