I mean, I suppose nothing is stopping me from watching Doublemeat Palace and As You Were on my own.
Lani says she'll keep Story Wonk going so maybe she'll get someone in to do Dusted with her. That won't be weird at all.
We’ve talked a lot about what this transition means for StoryWonk, and decided together that Lani will be leaving both the site, and all the podcasts. This is obviously a huge decision, but we feel that it’s the best way of securing a happier future for her, while allowing what we’ve built here at StoryWonk to continue.
So, what does that mean for our listeners and friends? For the moment, the shows that I produce by myself will continue — The Journeyman Writer will return next week, the There And Back Again series on the works of JRR Tolkien will go ahead as planned, I have an upcoming lecture for Story And Star Wars on the subject of Rogue One, and I’m glad to announce a new seminar series on Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, which will begin within the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the site for more details!
But that’s not all — with Lani’s blessing, I’ll continue some of the other shows too, with new co-hosts. That means that Dusted will be back, there’s a good chance that We Can Do This All Day will continue, and I will finish out the end of the Voyager book club in The Scot And The Sassenach. I don’t have a clear timeline for those shows just yet, and they’ll probably be gone for at least another week or two, but they will be back.
Dusted will return early in February, with a new co-host I know you'll adore. It will probably return on a once-a-week schedule in which we look at the rest of Buffy S6, and then the rest of Angel S3, but that's flexible.
