Welcome Mrs Nomanners!

LOL good point :) But on the other hand, lots of musicians nowadays can't sing (though they themselves are convinced they can). Just switch the radio on and you'll immediately know what I mean

I love Ozzy.. old Ozzy, new Ozzy, half dead Ozzy. Crazy Train - my life anthem.

my first was Vivaldi's Concerto in D - I always loved that one and so it came more or less automatically as soon as I had a guitar in my hands. I still like to play it.
As for the more entertaining kind of music, there my first one was Sleepwalk (by Larry Carlton).

My first was one of those shitty little electrics you buy out of a sears cataloug, it had a speaker in the actual body of teh guitar...

I had a few decent electrics after that, a Epiphony Special Ed II (les paul clone) and a Washburn...

But mostly I play acoustic, mostly Harmony and Honer...

I own a lovely old acoustic, a Gibson SG and ES335, a Fender Strat and a Jaguar.

In private life I prefer the Jaguar - it's neck is simply perfect for players with small palms but long fingers. It practically snuggles up to your hands. But beware: it weighs as much as a young elephant and will break your shoulder after 3 or 4 hours.

In public I mainly use the good old 335 for it's velvety sound (and low weight ;))

The SG is quite versatile and I recommend it to anyone who likes good old-fashioned Rock. However, try it out thoroughly before you buy one - only 1 out of 10 sounds good. The other nine are utter crap, but #10 will rock!

The Stratocaster needn't be introduced to anyone, I think. Good for both lead and rhythm, pleasant to play and optically pleasing.

My acoustic is handmade 1974 by Dieter Hopf. His guitars sell for prices between $6,000 and $12,000 - I bought mine in a tiny second-hand shop for $200 and invested another $300 to get it completely overhauled. A once-in-a-lifetime bargain!
