Why would being diabetic keep you from being a priest?

Thats what I'd like to know. Its not the Army. My mom seems to think they'll need to give me a physical.

I think the "heart" condition (meaning how deeply you are committed to God and the Church) is more important than your physical condition. You'll do alright, Lok.

I'm about to get ready and go be with my family for dinner.

I love my family. I'm blessed and thankful they are in my life.

Trying to relax a little bit before I have to spend time with the family.

Possums have invaded my attic. I'm trying to work up the nerve to put the ladder in the hall, push up the door to the attic, stick my head in there and yell at those critters to get out of my house.

They have little beady eyes and sharp looking teeth and they hiss and stuff. But, they are up there and they are freaking me out. Reminds me of the Paranormal entity. I don't want to hurt them. I just want them to go.

Plus, I'm really full from Thanksgiving feasting today. I'll survive it. Think I'll walk a half hour or so on the treadmill. Maybe get the third season of Walking Dead to date on Amazon thru the Roku.

In 15 minutes I'm meeting up with a friend and the shopping shall commence. Today's goal is to find office decorations. This year I'm doing a Santa's Workshop theme for my office and a Christmas Shop Windows for the other offices in my hallway. All toys collected will go to the local mission on December 14th.

We are not allowed to have displays like that where I work.

Later today, I'll be off to Costco for supplies, then the feed store for horse food.

Internetz, TV, Church, sleep, eat, maybe catch up on some movies I DVR'd. Holiday weekends are slower and even more boring than the regular ones.
