What are you doing to celebrate July 4th?

But, that is the nice thing about having a covered porch and patio - I can still cook out. Yummmmmmm.... I'm smelling those ribs right now.

Got to be careful about bringing up mental images of me in something wet. You'll get them that don't know what to do with a wet female all bunched up in knots.

I'm directing the men's choir at my church pancake breakfast and flag raising ceremony, then working (with holiday pay-- $26.50/hour woohoo!) 1130-830. Might catch the fireworks on the Willamette River afterward too :D

It's going to be 120 degrees out today (Wednesday, July 4th). I don't think I'm going to do much but hide in the house and avoid the extreme heat. It's too hot to cook, too hot to be outside (pool water is in the high 90's), too hot to go watch the fireworks. I think I'll pass on the whole thing.

This nigga will be kick in it w/the homies sippin on some 40s, smokin a blunt, burnin a few worthless flags and usin some pics of GW Bush as target practice.

Holla 5000

It is raining so hard, we lost satellite signal.

Now, it is flooding and the warning sirens are going off. The critters are in crates and the neighbor is coming with his van to take us to high ground.

If you don't see me for a few days, don't worry. I don't plan on drowning this year.

I'm just catching up with some posting...

Made pasta salad this morning and will grill chicken to top it off for dinner...

May scoot over to watch the fireworks...

Happy Independence Day America !

I'd prefer not to celebrate holidays by mimicking the sounds of war, thanks anyways.
