What if this guy suing God wins?

That would be sad.
 
But he does illistrate a valid point - The legal system in this country needs to be revamped.
 
Thats just as silly and the Russian woman who wanted to sue NASA over the Deep Impact Mission where they ran an Impactor into comet Tempel-1 comet on July 4.

Sen. Ernie Chambers is showing us how silly the dumb bastards running the court system are.

Well, it will be interesting to see if God files an answer to the lawsuit. I'd be curious to see what God's affirmative defenses are.

Actually, I have a lawsuit against Bush on my desk. People sue him all the time.

So far as what jurisdiction to file a lawsuit against God, if having difficulty in finding proper jurisdiction and a party to the suit is dead, file the suit in probate court.

Well, some of the potential parties to a class action lawsuit against God for being the cause of hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, disease, etc., will probably be dead because of those catastrophic events. So, their parents or a next of friend with standing to sue could sue God in probate court. The question would be what is the suit suing God for? The purpose of a suit is to make a party whole. Against a non-God defendant, Plaintiffs/representatives might ask for money damages for the loss of a person. However, since the defendant is a god with the power to give life, do the Plaintiffs want the deceased parties resurrected? The suit should be a premises defect type suit - defective planet and bodies otherwise it is a torts claim and God probably has all kinds of immunities as affirmative defenses.
 
The real question is who gets to be the judge.
