What you eating?

Doing it in the stove with some onions, carrots, and celery.

Still waiting to eat dinner...I think everyone is asleep. Better go check on that.

I have decided not to cook dinner tonight.
I am being lazy, sitting in bed watching netflix on my roku..

If they are hungry, they can make their own dinner tonight ;)

This afternoon we had yummy everything pizza, and then we had this amazing flourless chocolate torte I made with whipped cream and fresh raspberries.

I was going to write this huge thing about the Roku, but decided to leave this a foodie thread and go start a new Roku thread..

Oops...I was wrong. We are slow cooking it in a crockpot tommorrow. I was hoping to change her mind and do potatoes in the crockpot with it, but she says they get too greasy that way. And so noodles it will be for dinner tonight.

I was a bad girl yesterday. I have 8 - 32 oz cups of water, 1 starbucks frap mocha coffee and a glass of milk. I didn't eat a thing. Was so busy, I passed out around 8, woke up and went back to sleep. Just now woke up.

Going to crock-pot something tonight, I am going on my walk today.. I so look forward to Tuesdays and Thursday.

Goodnews is, I got an email from the one and only Wolfgang Puck about his restaurant in Dallas, I ask him for a recipe, and he said he would get it to me!!

Well it turns out my mom set the crockpot on too low so the pot roast wasn't ready by dinner time so we had chicken patties and powdered potatoes. Pot Roast is ready for tonight though. Just need to make the gravy and noodles this afternoon.

I had a New Yorker bagel. Shmear, lox, capers, red onion, lettuce and ranch on a spinach and cheese bagel, toasted.

No not you Lox, salmon.

Jesus.

we had takeout last night, some sort of mushroom chevre stuffed ravioli with sauteed yummies, just unbelieveable..a bucket of buffalo wings, and spinach salad (cranberries apples shrimp) We were drinking some of that nice bogle phantom that just came out, and I'm up to episode seven in Breaking Bad, my new favorite show thanks to Roku.

Fabulous evening.

Breakfast was some smoothy thing with those Acai berries in it.

Lunch is a baby spinach salad with blue cheese crumbles, white balsamic vinegar dressing and tuna. It needs Croutons. like bad.

Still recovering from surgery. A full week of being unable to eat, but today I was able to get crackers down. I think that's a great accomplishment.

BBQ with the Franciscans and Knights of Columbus today....grilled chicken, burgers, and hotdogs, as well as coleslaw, salad, macaroni salad, cookies, and small bags of potato chips.

Subway Meatball and pepperoni footlong for dinner.

A Vaquero Salad for lunch, a Baja Salad for dinner, and snacks of apple dumpling, yogurt, and sugar free chocolate pudding.

I can't wait until winter actually. I'm craving my mom's lentil soup with the hotdogs and spzetcheles(sp?). I'm making sure I get the recipe before I move back out.

My husband is from Hungary and spaetzle and lentils are a staple over there, they eat spaetzle with everything. It's just water, eggs and flour mixed into a bubble gum consistency and if you don't have a spaetzle maker you can use a hand held grater to make them. You put the dough over the large holes in the grater and push it back and forth with a spoon over boiling water. When they rise to the top they're done.
