Where is the Random Thread of Randomness stuff that doesn't belong in other threads thread?

All of the sudden, the way I boil macaroni for mac & cheez has changed. Used to fill a saucepan with enough water, add some salt, boil the noodles til they're done, and then drain them in a strainer. All of a sudden now the noodles soak up all the water by the time they're done. They also stick to the bottom of the pan if I don't stir them often.

To be fair, this could be because the pan I had all my life died and I wound up with this stupid enameled cast-iron one that probably has completely different heating properties.

I miss home stores like Bed Bath & Beyond. Every pot, glass, or kitchen tool Kroger has is consistently expensive and doesn't work. Where do you go now? Target? I guess. But Target has also failed to impress me for at least a decade.

When your watching porn then he puts his hand on her neck and the moment is gone, what arsehole decided chocking was sexy?

Watching the American Office with dinner this week, it's interesting that Michael is just as bad as David in many ways, but he never comes across quite as pathetic and you root for him in a way you don't really with Brent (or I do anyway.) I guess it's because Steve Carell has an inate likability and Ricky Gervais is...Ricky Gervais (not that the British series wasn't great okay.)

If you have a Kohl's they have decent housewear items... if you can navigate your way through the disorder and mess.

It's sad that everything sucks these days. There was a Kohl's next to my supermarket, 2 miles from my house in Oregon. There was a Target maybe a 1/2 mile down the road, but by this point I was finding less and less things at Target that were worth making the second stop for so I usually just hit Kohl's. It's like McDonald's. To me, McDonald's is a place you can go if you're in a hurry and want to put familiar tasting calories in your face-hole quickly without spending much money. It's probably close to a decade since I've had that experience at a McDonald's. 2 hamburgers, fries, and a Coke should be a pit stop, not an odyssey.

Life is like Goldilocks: It's hard to get things just right. And by the time you do, a family of bears will probably show up and chase you off.

If "Hobby Lobby" is good enough for a name for a craft store, then "Hobo Lobo" would be a good name for a wolf that preys on the homeless.

Just remembered when someone on TrekBBS complained about Star Trek: Nemesis being destroyed as the box office by "Shitty Lord Of The Things." Imagine being so fucking TREK BIASED that you think Nemesis was a better movie than anything, let alone The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers. Cunt.

This was over 21 years ago I should let it go.

Having no internet is forcing me to watch TV.

All those channels and hardly anything good to watch, saw an episode of top gear sonold James May wasn't in it yet, and they reviewed cars ordinarily people could afford, it was dull.

Seen more episodes of 8 out of ten cats that anyone should watch in a row.

And could I see any more friends?
