Zombie Hunter
Friday nights are "Forged in Fire." Multiround blade-making competition. Now I know they used a lot of pig carcasses on "Mythbusters," but I gotta say I'm a little surprised they get to chop up as many carcasses on this show as they do without being shut down by animal rights groups. They also murder a lot of ballistics dummies. In early episodes they were filled with blue liquid but as the show went on they decided blood-red was OK for television and the judges often get at least a little "blood" on them. That said...
While I have no desire to see it in an ongoing manner, part of me is curious how the weapon tests would look on an actual living target. Because when they chop into a dead hog or a salmon it is largely a neat and tidy thing and when they chop into a ballistics dummy there is some splashing but nothing like in a pressurized system where there's a heart pumping the liquid through vessels. And the "blood" is quite watery anyway. Again, not something I'm clamoring to see ongoing, I just want to see how much "OH MY FUCK!" different it would be for something realistic. Eh. I guess I could just go watch "American Psycho."
