Where is the Random Thread of Randomness stuff that doesn't belong in other threads thread?

Oldies station was in disco mode this afternoon. On the way out to run an errand it was Village People "YMCA". When the errand was done and I got back in the car they were on The Spinners, "Working My Way Back to You, Babe." I want to say I think I could handle a disco station. You got jazz and classical, country, classic rock, pop, etc. There's room on the dial for all disco all the time.

I hate when you've got the TV on in the background but you're also doing things and you miss something you didn't know was important.

"Modern Marvels" reruns after dinner. It's getting dark so I'm going around closing curtains and turning on lights on a commercial break and I come back in the room to "...and that's how cling-wrap sticks to bowls." "WAIT, WHAT? GO BACK! HOW DOES CLING-WRAP STICK TO BOWLS?!"

I have a friend in Hawaii and there was a hurricane there over the weekend. She's fine and all, but power has been out across a lot of the islands. Anyway, apparently this guy showed up to help with the cleanup.
