The medals remind me of the graphic heavy sigs on 12 year old Japanese pop fan forums. You also get them on RPG or D&D forums.

I come from a site where we have little trolls in our sigs for bannings as well. It's a gay practice - but more George Michael gay rather than full blown David Furnish gay.
