For the Record:

I asked for "Admin status" and was unexpectedly granted some CP access for about 20 minutes. I used the time to make some easily reversible tweaks here and there, and then was shut out. I never had "Full TK Admin control". I believe most of the furor was over my ability to see IP address during that time, and what (if any) data I may have harvested about individual accounts.

It should be of note that Cait did not do it alone, but happened to be in chat at the time and talked to the other admins before granting me access to the CP.

It was a tempest in a tea-pot, IMHO, but Messy (whose account was one that I played with) chose to make a lot of noise about it, and others chimed in, some as opportunists, some with a genuine issue. If I had known it would cause so much grief...indeed if I had known that my joking request would be granted in the first place, I'd probably not have asked. As it was, it was a lot less dramatic than other occurrences on this board, and let's all be honest, this place needs drama every so often. If Number 6 left because of it, that's one of the regrettable side-effects, I liked (and still like) him as a poster and felt he was a real contributor to this site.

Why Cait or anyone else would want to be admin here for LONGER than 20 minutes is beyond me.

He does that a lot. I'm thinking of requesting that his name be changed to Whiney.

I have it on good authority though that Messy is 3 feet tall with a flat head, buck teeth and rat ears. Complete with hair.
 
I voted for teh Shat to never return to TK.

It's frightening to have one's cyberlife threaten the foundations of one's real life.

BTW, I've heard Tisiphone may be available.
