Why coffee or tea are good things

Its ok, 'Gear. My mom is a bit racist too. Its all part of eloisel and my mom's charm. I don't judge.

I'm still holding out hope you two crazy kids can get past your differences and work things out. If I could afford it I'd rent you two a hotel room.

Loktar, my remark isn't racist. Americans are not a race. Further, it is a legitimate question because even nations that are not our enemies may not like Americans in general.

Like when you suggested I would completely disapear?

LOL. I'd never hurt you IRL, eloisel. But thanks to the magic of the internet I can virtual pimp slap you as much as I want.

Btw, I'm on fake ignore like you are with 'Gear. LOL.

*PIMP SLAP!!!*

Dear - passive/aggressive and violent are not congruent. If I were to make you disappear off the face of the planet it would be because I had found a way to get you a seat on a space shuttle. Now, if you happened to be ejected into space while you were out there, I would have nothing to do with it because I would be here on earth with lots of witnesses.

He actually was on ignore but he is not on ignore now. He is my special friend. Aren't you glad?

Ha ha ha Couldn't hang is what it was. Shivled starving ego couldn't hack it.

What was that about a space shuttle seat? Talk about left field.

It sounds lovely. I've heard the food is good too. Is it a friendly to Americans country?
Austrian food is awesome! Tons of excellent sweet dishes, cakes and souflees but also very tasty stews and roasts.
The Austrian people is generally friendly to everyone. They have this "live and let live" mentality and an almost Italian lifestyle. Quite easygoing people with a good sense of humour (especially satire) and a tendency to be a bit romantic.
Politically, there is a right wing fraction with rather racist ideas that gets stronger all the time. Similar to the situation in Germany, I'd say, though so far much less violent.

That is good to know. I like people who like eating good food and talking around the table. Romantics are nice too. Actually, a couple I travel with often are walkers. We have sightseeing and eating in common. The walking is good for me so I'm happy to do it too. We've talked about taking a vacation where we could do a lot of walking. He likes countryside, she likes shops, I like trains. Think Austria would be a good destination for us?

Aren't you (or weren't you) in the travel industry?

depends on what you like best. Austria is a geographically versatile region and covers pretty much everything from hot plains near the Hungarian border to the snowy Alps. There is a bicycle trail all along the river Danube which might possibly be suitable for hiking, too. The weather depends on the region, but generally mid-May to mid-July is warmest and driest. August is the main vacation season (expensive and crowded. And trditionally rainy). Early October usually is lovely and rather cheap.
The Austrian tourism bureau http://www.austria.info/us lists a few interesting tours: http://www.austria.info/us/tags/walking
