Why dont you post at lonaf more/at all

I don't know that other board really. It takes a lot for me to start up at new boards. Half the time it reminds me off being a kid and starting at a new school.

i remember it took me a lot to start posting here and then at WF. And then after not posting here for so long it's all new again for me.

I think I'm just used to knowing everyone and what's going on like at Trekbbs

No, your <insert lame related-person joke here>

How dare you say that <insert lame related-person>!

Lonaf can be kinda cliqish, its a good board though.

I think if you stay long enough, and are not a fucktard you should be able to fit in.

I laughed at someone's joke and was warned that my type wasn't very welcome there.

But then, it really comes down to an issue of time.

L0NaF is an unfriendly place. :rwmad:
Only to lame faggy trolls. Like you. Take the hint.

Cranky's situation was all a misunderstanding, but I don't expect that to ever get mended properly. Oh well.

IIRC, Cranky started posting at Lonaf at the same time of a bot invasion, and inadvertantly got shelved with the bots.
Cranky, man, that sucks. I can't speak for everyone, but you're welcome there by me.

The peculiar thing about L0NaF is that 94% of currently active members are either Admin/Mods or Retired Admin/Mods, both of whom have access to a hidden forum called the Ops Centre where "stuff" gets discussed. A new poster has absolutely no chance to post and coexist peacefully there if a current or retired staff has a personal vendetta against her/him. He's as good as toast. The end-result is a board with a penchant for a "Us vs. Them" attitude which precludes any chance of garnering new members and to "grow".

Wow I can't believe Lonaf was analyzed this much. When I go to a new board I dont' expect the welcome mat rolled out just because I start posting there. You have to learn to freaking interact with people, be yourself, and if they don't like it, fuck em-whats it worth anyway?
I don't always feel like I fit in at Lonaf, or don't share the same interests as people there-but thats what makes it interesting, and I like reading the posts.

Don't blame this on others Grammour Boy. Other posters are perfectly capable of deciding for themselves wether they like you or not. Why do you spend so much time trying to fit in somewhere that you feel treats you this way?

Posting tons of generic porn isn't the way into everyone's hearts. At some point you have to be "real." But I'm tired of pointing that out to you.

Half of LoNAF are also here. Generally, the reception you get there is tied to your history here. Including the early, big-orange-text, Lord Waffles-lite days.

You still come across as a total act. IMHO.

I felt a general hostility towards me rather quickly from the established population. I saw nothing to interest me in hanging around and making them tolerate me.

El: I think that perception was from the posts in your thread in the Cabinet, particularly Mal's.

I can certainly see how his reaction would be off-putting, but Mal's like that to everybody.
I don't know if you got his follow-up post after you said you wouldn't be back, but you're fine by him. :?
