Vista's kernel and Vista's SP1 kernel are two different things. The SP1 kernel is also Windows 7 kernel. So in essence, Vista SP1 IS Window's 7, not vice versa.


But let's be clear. The kernel is merely one part of the whole. It's NOT the operating system. It's simply what manages the computer's resources. The Vista kernel was a bloated sow. The Win7 kernel (or Vista SP1 kernel if you prefer) is supposed to be the slimlined version.

You have not a clue what you are talking about. As it is the central component of the OS, it IS the OS, you moron.

SP1 is an ADDENDUM to Vista, you dumb shit. Why do you think they call it a Service Pack? There IS no kernel in SP1, since it is only an addendum to the OS, improving bugs that may have been found in the original OS.

You clearly do not understand computers.
 
The central component does not make it the entire component. SP1 altered the kernel to match what was already being tried in the RC1 of Windows 7, of which I was a tester. Vista in essence morphed into Windows 7. The kernel is not the OS. If it were, it wouldn't be called the kernel you uneducated slob.

Next time you require this much of my instruction, you're going to be put on my taxes.

I actually know someone who ACTUALLY DID partake in its development, and he stated clearly that Microsoft employees are not allowed to talk about their jobs. You are so full of shit I can smell you from up here. There were no less than 3 people in TV who claimed to have been part of the team of developers of the Microsoft OS.

Allow me to educate you. The kernel IS the OS, for without a kernel, there IS NO OS. In your previous post, you stated the job of the kernel is nothing more than to allow the OS to communicate and control all functions of a computer. You do understand that is EXACTLY the function of an OS, yes? Remove the OS from the computer (the CPU in this case), and you have an expensive paperweight, you moron.

When you claim to be a 'tester', no doubt you mean you tried out the BETA version of Windows 7. You dumb cunt, that thing is available for EVERYONE to 'test'. That's why it is called an BETA version. Please, find a brain.

I especially like the part where you claim that Vista in essence morphed into Windows 7. It IS Windows 7, you dumb shit. Pretty much the same kernel since Windows NT is being used. All Vista and Windows 7 are, would be OS's with the kernel slightly altered.

Imagine if you will, a movie with a specific ending. Let us say for example, Casino Royale, where there is one ending. Imagine then, that they created a version with a different ending. Are you to suggest the movie can no longer be called 'Casino Royale, even though the majority of the movie remains unchanged, but there is only a change in the ending? The idea for Microsoft OS's is the same, you dumb shit.

Could a human survive without the blood? In essence, that is correct. No blood would mean no human, for we cannot exist without our blood. Take the engine out of a car, and try keeping its description as a car, for it is thus useless without an engine. It would become the heaviest of all paperweights. Not very bright are you? Why not sticky the entire thread for all to see, especially computer programmers, yes? Those who recognise sarcasm for what it is usually display a superior intellect. You are clearly below the norm, as your entire posting history shows. Feel free to beg your beloved Admins to sticky this thread, that others may learn WHY some people should be working with computers, and others should be limited to using them.
