I work in the accounts payable Dept of the nipple testing factory, and sit at the front desk and answer phone calls, and count ducks. (12 today)








( But actually I do those things at a construction co)
 
Do you need a moment after long meetings before going right back into work? I do.
I usually need a moment to process,vor just walk aroundvor do something different. I can't just go intovthe next task without transition.
But only after meetings.
 
A colleague of mine absolutely LIVES for meetings. Mostly because it’s an excuse to hear his own voice. He’ll jump on the slightest excuse to arrange “a big meeting where we sit down and have a frank discussion”. I just find them draining and boring, with concepts which could just be boiled down to a couple of sentences if everyone wanted.
 
I've just had a day and a half of meetings, and next week I have to go to Wigan for another one.

I don't know if any of you have been to Wigan, but it's not great.
 
It is me.
I have to learn to deal with the " What are you eating?" Question. It is something that has bothered me in different places.
Either that or I just should never eat anything interesting, or anything that smells good, or always go out to eat- that part is complicated.
Anyway so I just grabbed some fried chicken and chips with dip from the stire- kind of junk food to me, but if course 2 people come over AND bend down so they can smell my food.
" Oooh what are you eating?"

I think I should just say, " I don't like that question, please don't ask me"
Will I sound like a bitch?

Objectively, no, but it's likely that THEY would think you're a bitch, lol. But it is rude to stand over you and inhale while you're trying to eat.

I've forgotten what those situations were like, since I've been working remotely from home for 10 years lol.
 
Yeah, I would much rather prefer to not have to eat at my desk in the first place, but since that is what we do (No lunch room) and I am in the front office, whoever walks by wants to know what I am eating.
 
Toy Story's on tv but every time I hear Rex I just think of the Grand Nagus and then inevitably Quark getting a sex change.
 
Just fuck the company I work for. Fuck it with a cranky looking metal pipe fuck them. I decided to call in sick for thursday and I get an email from my fuckwit of a manager saying " I guess I am a bit confused how there is an illness call out 48 hours ahead of time?"

Like maybe I'm sick (I'm not but they don't know that) and wanted to give sufficient notice. Next time I'll just call in an hour ahead of time and really screw them.

I hate this company and at this point if they fire me, oh well. They've fucked me over by only scheduling me once a week.
 
So I did a thing today
Something I was always so careful about

I sent an email to the wrong recipient.

With personal and possible incriminating evidence about myself.

I saw the email today that I had thought I only sent to myself last week. Apparently I included our work email also. I found the email in a group folder, so it is possible that it was just filed away and it is no big deal. I saw the first part of it and thought, "OH it is just that" Slightly embarresing but no big deal. And then I went to the full email
SHIT
LOL
And I didn't even finish reading it because I felt so embarresed.

But-I still have a job today-that was last week-no one said anything to me about it-and actually it has been more cool-SO MAyBE IT IS OKAY!

I DON"T KNOW!
