Just finished All Tomorrow's Parties and am sorry the book is finished!!
I'm gonna return these in a few minutes and pick up that other one you mentioned, Neuromancer (sp?).

Yes! Get it, you'll love it. It's weird, fast paced, and sometimes confusing. My advice for the confusing parts is to just read through them. When the character is confused you will be too. It all works out!

Oh and while you're there, see if they've got Accelerando by Charles Stross. Since you like Gibson, I'm betting you'll like Stross. ALSO, have you read Hyperion by Dan Simmons yet? Not the same style of book, but I think you'd like it.

Hyperion series by Dan Simmons are great. His Ilium / Olympos pair of books are somehow EVEN BETTER, though.

He's my favorite author at the moment, hands down.

I was skeptical, and it took me like 50 pages to get into it, but definitely one of the most satisfying reads in a long time.
