Sounds like what happened to Bill Alfonso in ECW. They put him up against Beulah McGillicutty, and the two had an epic match together. Saved his job, went down in history.
 
WWE presenting a match sponsored by a company advertised by Russell Brand, surely not a worrying sign for the future of humanity.

 
Honestly I thought the same thing. All I can think of is the image of a bloody Hangman being hung on a PPV. Skye Blue staplegunning Toni Storm's cooch just last week on Dynamite. And the various other family friendly activities they're guilty of. I'm like.... Really Tony? I love ya but... really?
 
Kids have to learn about cooch stapling sooner or later.
