The 'world' is in chaos? Uh, sweetie, our economy is not suffering. YOURS is. NONE of our industries were bailed out. We not only do not have a President, but our fucking leader is PURE WHITE as the driven fucking Canadian snow. You were saying?????

lol did you read a wiki article about canada's economic position on conservapedia to base this arguement on?

Canada bailed out their auto industry too, and what do you call it when Harper gave back all those random credits to the people?

not to mention the HST(google it), they wouldn't need to do that unless they felt like they were running out of money.

Canada's situation at the moment is better than most other nations, yes, but that doesn't mean the economy isn't in bad shape.

'Our' auto industry? The last time I checked, the companies were AMERICAN, and the government was pressured by the fucking auto unions to hand over a little bit of cash. The government was left with a choice, hand over millions and keep many Canadians working, OR end up paying those same Canadians even more money to be on the dole. Remember, their fate was up to the AMERICANS. Chrysler threatened to leave Canada if the Ontario government (NONE of the money was federal, unlike the Americans) handed over more cash. The ruling Liberals uttered 'there's the door out of Ontario if you threaten us again'. Chrysler, knowing they were fucked in a place where they had their most productive factories, decided to tone down their crap.

The HST has NOTHING to do with the economy. Businesses have been clamouring for years for this program. They did not like the two-tax system, so they demanded the government 'harmonize' them, hence the title HARMONIZED SALES TAX, you fucking moron.

Harper gave back random credits as part of his election strategy, not due to the economy, you dumb fuck. Read about the attempted takeover of the country by a coalition of lefties, you dumb shit.

Please, oh please do NOT type about things you know nothing. Canada fared best of ALL countries on the planet during the economic turndown, thanks to our heavily-regulated industries, something a FASCIST government uses, which proves my point about the superiority of fascist government systems.

sorry they bailed out the auto industry "producing in Canada at the time"

businesses have NOT been clamouring about the two tax system. infact it's been better,because you could avoid paying one through tax exemption and not have to pay the other on only certain goods. this way, everyone gets ttaxed 15 percent on everything with 7 percent exemption for businesses

i know he did, despite that it only worked because people were in bad shape. if, on the other hand, everyone was fine and dandy, they would've seen it as a waste of money.

i'm not even going to bother with the last point because it's clear you don't know what a fascist government is.
