YES..I got my Motorcycle Riding Permit today!

Woah, Lucy, dear, your post makes you look agitated. Chill, honey, it's just motorcycles, not racism or something.

I take it it hasn't crossed your mind that the fact that I have ridden them might also mean that I have, like, also talked to their owners? Or, maybe, possibly, HAVE BEEN an owner, myself? Nah, I guess it didn't, lol!

rofl, no, I'd never do that.*

Oh come on. Resorting to nitpicking linguistic pragmatics so soon in the game? Seriously, you're no fun anymore.

Yes, they are. But what does that have to do with a comparison between the Ducati SS900 Chiara and "their Japanese counterparts" that you mentioned?

Well, I don't know. Maybe you should ask an American?

It is? Funny, and here I thought it evolved from scrambles in the UK. But hey, I bet you've once talked to someone who knows somebody whose granddad watched a motocross race once, so what do I know, right?

Wow, that's, like, so cool, dude! But what do you mean by "even"? Are you implying that there is something wrong with Canada so it's kind of surprising that they manage to build something as technically challenging as a motocross bike? That's not very patriotic, Lucy!

*As I said - you're way too easy today. :D

Watching desperation is most amusing indeed. You dear, are the easiest I have ever encountered. I owned you with my every post. You are clearly fidgeting with discomfort. Your answers are those of a rambling idiot fighting to get out of the corner in which she has discovered she has placed herself. Please keep up the good work. ROTFLMAO. I especially love the 'you're way too easy today' from a person scrambling to save face.

I liked this one best.

No doubt she looked up the fact that motocross has its roots in Britain. I knew that when I was but 10 years of age, whilst my buddies were running about on Suzukis, Kawies, and Hondas. That does not change the fact motocross is considered an AMERICAN sport, since that is where it is bigger. To suggest it is British because it was born there would be like suggesting basketball is Canadian since it was invented in Canada. Yet, we have ONE pro team in Canada, our beloved Raptors. This proves you Americans are utter morons. So, shall I run about this site acting like Illyanna, claiming that basketball is in fact a CANADIAN sport???? Duh?

Posted by a member of a Ducati site, where they PRAISE their Ducatis...

I think Ducatis and stalling go hand in hand. This is my 3rd Ducati and my old 749 stalled, my 999 stalled, and now my 1098 also stalls. However it does not stall as frequent as the other member's bikes on here though. Mine stalls whenever it sits on a light for too long. It used to stall more and also when I was moving but now it rarely does (but still stalls).

ROTFLMAO! Exactly what my buddy's friend told me about his Ducati. My buddy owned a Suzuki, and he never had a problem with it, ever.

I just like to ride. I don't care what I ride. I don't care what you ride.

I'd like a Triumph Thruxton, or a new harley 1948, or a Fat Bob, or a CB750, I rode a gl500 thru 38 states and 3 of the 4 corners of the US. I'd like a duck, but a yz750 would be fun too.

Just remember this post when you are in a for-profit US hospital, recovering from that brain injury after your massive wipeout on the typical pothole-filled Interstate. Also, be sure you can put up your momma's home to pay for the surgery to remove what is left of your brain.

Hey, so you've decided to find some information after all, huh? But come on... info posted on the 'net?!? Now who's the desperate one? :alol:

OK, now I am officially confused.
a) where did I say that basketball is a Canadian sport ??
b) Who exactly is it who considers motocross an American sport - you? your buddies? Canadians? Americans? Links please?
and, finally,
c) what exactly in that post of yours proves that Americans are utter morons again? Sorry, but I am completely at a loss here.

There you go, keep dancing puppet. I OWN you as of now, not something to brag about though.

Ah, I see. Running out of comebacks, are you?
Too bad, but hey, it was fun, let's do this again soon!

Oh, and Lucy?

Another unsupported claim. Quite the contrary actually. Luci is the sock puppet dancing on a message board it is compelled to read so it can shit maple leaves later. Zoom, zoom, zoom. You should try putting something exciting between your legs.

At least you are being smart enough to enroll in a school.

Maybe you will survive your first week on the road.

BTW, 90% of the time it isn't the way you ride, it's the way the other people around you drive that's the problem. Keep your eyes pealed and be careful.

Sweetiepie, MWAHHHH, let us remember how much by far more a Ducati costs than a Suzuki. You would wish to mortgage your home to pay for a cycle that stalls, rather than use a few month's pay to purchase a Suzuki that stalls perhaps once???? Someone's sniffing my cock too closely.

I don't know what a Ducati 900 SS costs in Canada, but over here, the costs for a used one aren't that much higher than for, say, a used Hayabusa, so that argument is not valid for me. (Of course, the costs have been a pointless argument in the first place. If costs would play a role in deciding whether to become a biker or not, the industry would have already died a rather fast death decades ago.)

Someone's sniffing my cock too closely.
Oh please, as if one has to get close to you to smell your cock. Why do you think it is people give you a wide berth when you're walking down the street?

But I shall NOT ride.. like this

Note to Self: You cannot stop a 700 lb bike at cruising speed..with your feet!

I use an old zzr1100 for the commute , total ballistic missle, have an old bsa bantam in the shed in bits and my first bike suzuki rgv 250 in lucky strike colours, had two spills , one a track day and the other in a petrol station, and now my knee clicks permenantly....

seriously buy a jap second hand bike for your first bike , when you bin it it wont hurt the pocket so much, and itll run forever (cbr600?) , BTW those open face /close face helmets are gash, closed face all the way...

You must all remember.. I am the Goddamn Batman.. When My skills are up, I shall ride like this!! ;)
