Technically, you could make "Schroedinger's Bong." Bong with a chamber with a screw-off top, large enough to put a cat in. Of course the glass would have to be opaque or else the cat couldn't simultaneously be stoned and not stoned.
As I read Sherlock Holmes stories, I'm reminded of the origins of terms. "Speaking off-the-cuff," meaning to speak without notes, isn't entirely accurate. In Olden Dayes, cleaning shirts and keeping them crisp and sharp was difficult so the collars and cuffs were removable--and basically disposable. So if you needed to make some notes about something, you just jotted them down on the cuff of your shirt. So literally, "speaking off-the-cuff" was when you didn't have a prepared speech in front of you, just some notes you'd scribbled on your shirt-cuff.
The "Best Years of Your Life" paradox. When you're...5 or 8 or some age right around there, at least one Grown Up is going to tell you "these are the best years of your life, enjoy them while you can." Of course you won't believe them because to a 5 year old, being a 5 year old is pretty hard. And even if you believed them, you couldn't actually enjoy them because again, you have nothing to compare them too. It's on Sunday night when you're over 40 and you're trying to get all your weekly chores done before you have to go to work on Monday morning and thinking about sitting in front of the TV on a Saturday morning or staging Evel Knievel jumps on the hill across the street that you understand what those Grown Ups were telling you all those years ago. But there's no way to go back and enjoy them now.
They should have like, one year when you're 4, that they waive child labor laws and you spend a year working in a coal mine like Olden Dayes so you can actually appreciate the best years of your life.
Do you think Lindsay Wagner and Lee Majors ever banged in real life? And what would that have been like? Were there bionic sproinging noises going on while they were boinking?
Who's doing casting at Disney anyways? I mean a black actress as The Little Mermaid is one thing but Halle Berry was way too old for the character. And I loved Rene Zellweger as Bridget Jones, but I can't see her as Snow White.
