Chipper, I don't doubt that her board was severely trolled. But that was years ago, and it seems rediculous IMHO to keep it closed out of fear. But, whatever. Thanks for the explanation.

You are right AKaras...She is talking about her site being troll many years ago and still feeling the effects of it....Oh Please get over it already. Time has moved forward, why can't she for goodness sakes.
They can't and they won't move forward because it is a private club where they talk about other boards they post on among other things, personal and todays news events. They all think alike, thats why she and others like EI because it takes no effort to post with folks that think the same as yourself....How much debate can happen with that kind of structure.
I've expressed that she is Super Paranoid...Look how you can't mention the 'nickname' or name of her board on EI without getting a warning. Or Specs requesting that the name or nickname of her board be edited out of the dang post.
Folks can call us Tk'ers but heaven forbid if you call any of her crew 'Wacky's' Specs get all bent out of shape and start screaming to the mods/admins. Specs get special treament over there and goodness knows what pile of crap she gives the staff for them to cater to her needs.

EI was closed for a little while, but anyone could still view the threads. You see why I can't help but wonder??? Oh well. This is one mystery that will never get solved. Like Area 51.

I had a list that I copied from Specs board and posted on EI before it was against the guidelines to bring in copied material from others board......
They changed guideline speedy quick because of me...
And I think nutmeg/Old Lurker member of Specs board, has stopped posting at EI since she started her own board with Digital Man, who also left EI when EI staff pissed him off by editing one of his posts.....

And most of them are very decent people (at least to me ), of course depending on the discussion as well, but that's the same with everyone.

Oh, I don't doubt they are decent people. But she did lie when she said (see her reply to RobL) that no one on her board really bothers with EI.

But I will say this, as I said before on EI when you pitched a fit when I was first made a watchdog: of course sometimes posters from EI and TK are discussed on the board. Several of us DO post at EI--many don't, as I said, but several do. And occasionally people get pissed off at other people and vent. They do this everywhere, including at my forum. In my response to you at EI, which you ignored, I compared it to people bitching about coworkers around the water cooler. It's human nature. I don't claim that anyone who posts at my board is above it.
But that's only a small part of the forum. After all, those who DON'T post at EI don't care and don't want to hear about stuff from other forums, so it's self-limiting.
And there's no way I believe that some people on TK don't have their own little private venues--PM, email, chat, even a little private board tucked away somewhere. You just may not know about it.

Gode is not impartial in this. I wouldn't trust him, and anyway, whatever he says is heresay. Nothing against Gode, but unless I see it with my own eyes, he can say whatever he wants. There would be no proof one way or another.
