Ahsoka

I though Hayden did a good job playing the Clone Wars version of Anakin while also playing a weird dream/vision/ghost Anakin at the same time. The lesson he was teaching Ahsoka could have been clearer, maybe? I think it was to stop being a soldier now that the war is long over, but I'm not sure that was a problem Ahsoka had before this episode? She seemed more happy and in touch with her emotions at the end anyway. so that's nice. The younger actress did a good job as child soldier Ahsoka too, but now people are going to deny a live action Clone Wars-set series and they could just watch the fucking cartoon like REAL FANS do.

The New Republic continue to be awful.

Probably my least favorite episode thus far. It was not terrible or anything. I just found the whole thing with Anakin boring and not exactly clear what Ahsoka was supposed to learn. I like how her plan is to hide in the space whale and hope it takes them to where they need to go.

Despite my earlier post, I now think the point was supposed to be that Ahsoka was worried about what kind of mentor she'd be to Sabine because she was an apprentice during wartime and learned from literal Darth Vader. But again I don't remember her worrying about this in the previous episodes.

Probably the best episode. Thrawn's introduction and the stormtroopers worshipping him as a cult-like leader were really good. Liked the hermit-crab people, felt very Star Wars or Willow. Actually proper Darksisters too (Morgan's a bit too...normal for a space witch.)

I hope Baylen's story is self-contained within this season.

OMG I love the crabby snail people. lol

How does Thrawne know about Ahsoka and the star whales?

From star wars rebels, Ezra used the whales to bring Thrawn and his whole star destroyer out there, that's how it got damaged.

It was great to see Elon Musk as Thrawne.

Is he the only real trooper and the rest are all just mist zombies, IT'S A THEORY.

Dosnt feel like a.penultimate episode, took me by surprise when I found out there is only one more.

Something tells me this won't have a satisfying ending.

It doesn't look like they'll resolve the Thrawn stuff at all, he'll just get home and they'll have to stop him in a future tv show/movie. They MIGHT resolve whatever Baylan's story is but considering we still don't know what he's trying to do that would have to take up most of the finale.

Oh hey turns out Rosario Dawson is a good actress and is much better as Ahsoka when they let her show emotion. Why did they wait until near the end of the season to do that?

Ezra's actor seems good.

I liked the episode, but yeah I'm not sure how things will be resolved in the final.

I feel like they will have to have a second season or something.

Seeing C-3PO was cool
