Yeah it was good. Just hope the mystery of Jason's identity is more complicated than being the Jason of Argonaut fame. Don't know any other Jasons in Greek mythology. Unless his real name turns out to not be Jason.
 
The Golden Fleece is bound to show up in the season finale, but I'm not sure I'll be watching by then. They haven't made much effort to address the time travel, missing dad or ability to speak Ancient Greek, and the stories are all far too childish for me to find them stimulating.

Oh and I feel sorry for Mark Addy being the butt of every joke. I know he signed up for it, but he's "the fat one" in everything he's cast in.
 
Alright, so I've read all the posts in this thread and I am disappointed that Jason and Pythagoras aren't having SEX.
 
I know that he's supposed to be the Jason from Greek Myth, but Goddamn, I feel like you're talking about Jason from Dirk's board.

And the idea of HIM being in this show is nothing short of hilarious.

Oh, latest BBC episode has a Game Of Thrones actor (Julian Glover) criminally underused I should have mentioned that.
 
This show is so bland, and pedestrian it hurts. Other than that, there are quite a few dialled in performances from some of the actors in the 3 episodes I've watched. It looks like they wanted something to replicate Merlin / Robin Hood, but wanted only to invest 50% of the budget.
 
This week's was probably the most "Merlin-like" episode they've done. It still wasn't actually good since Colin Morgan could out-act Jason in his fucking sleep, but it was better than normal I guess.
 
The one I saw last night was the bull jumping episode. OF COURSE JASON IS A NATURAL BORN BULL JUMPER! Still think Jason and Pythagoras should have a secret love affair.

ALSO, they keep giving Hercules shit about Medusa as if all thin women only date thin men. Like perhaps thin people are magnets for other thing people and fat people are magents for fatties.
