Checking it out tomorrow night...:bigass:
i cannot WAIT to see this film. the super-secret-ninja-stealth ad campaign and blair-witch-style cinematography, combined with the promise of a giant scary monster that completely fucks UP new york is just too tempting.
i'm such a sucker for marketing. it's almost embarrassing.
Must've: It looks nothing like those.Well, there's been pics of the monster floating around the web for some time...and everyone says they're "plants" to generate interest and throw everyone off.
Finally: If you see it, remember to pay very close attention to the last shot. You'll know it when it arrives.
No, there's some audio stuff at the end of the credits that for all I know might be some weird "Lost" reference. (I know that there's already rampant speculation on that alone.). I'm talking about the last shot before the credits, and what I'm talking about isn't easy to see. Most of the other people I went with didn't catch it, but checking later online assured me that I wasn't hallucinating. I won't give it away or exaggerate its significance, but will say that it's an important clue to the origin of the creature.I heard that there's something at the end of the credits (that I missed because I left), but I don't think that that's what you mean.

I'd say so, if you don't let your expectations get too high about the film itself, and you don't get a really shitty shot-with-a-hidden-camcorder-in-the-theatre bootleg. I don't think anybody's brain is designed to process a handheld-camera version of a whole film originally shot with a handheld camera. So is it worth the bandwidth to download?
Wiki's comprehensive on the film as well as the overall marketing phenomenon. and they've got quite a lot of links. I've looked for a good screenshot of it and found nothing.Could you link me to where you saw it online, please? If you don't want to leave spoiler links lying around (although if people click on them, it's their own fault), could you PM it to me?
