Yes! Best episode of the season BY FAR. Britta was in character and ON POINT. Everyone got funny lines. I laughed out loud several times! At Community! At season six of Community! It had a story and jokes! BOTH THINGS!
"How do the tigers survive without food or water?"
"IT'S NOT CUTE, ANNIE."
"This used to be a study group?"
"Chang was your TEACHER?"
"And not utilised as well since!"
SO MUCH META AND IT WAS GOOD META.
And holy shit that bit with Jeff and Chang ranking Annie and Britta by email...was that literally based on me and Tomtrek? Because that's a level of meta that I am uncomfortable with! It's good that "Britta is number one, Annie is number two" is a canon line now though!
"A free government terrorises privacy, that's all four, bitches!"
I love the cop. I appreciated how the tag rewarded viewers of True Detective.
It was good -- I agree, it did feel like an old-school Community episode -- but maybe a "B" graded ep. It was funny but I didn't fall out of the chair.
Therefore I am an outcast, doomed to walk the streets under a cloud.
(I was interrupted by an annoying co-worker while I was watching so I'll have to watch it again -- I'LL COME AROUND, DON'T WORRY.)
This episode was okay? I liked that they explored how Elroy feels about the group (or really how the group feels about Elroy) and gave him some backstory. And the "The Ears Have It" game. I don't know how I felt about the Britta story. It was funny but what did it mean? Someone tell me how to feel.
I see lots of people complaining about not being able to watch it on their tv, I THOUGHT EVERYONE WATCHED TV ON THE COMPUTER NOW
It's taking some getting used to, but the Yahoo thingy works pretty well and I don't mind watching it on the computer. At least there aren't as many commercials, like on the CW's streaming shows.
