It seems the two of you jumped to conclusions.

If the first account was registered under a proxy then it may have been denied simply because of that. The second may have again been denied for use of a proxy and the real poster you had registered under may have been contacted and asked about the account.

If any or all of that had happened then it throws into question your conclusions.

That's possible, but it would imply active checking. Not a big deal until you add the next bit into the mix...

It only reinforces them. The SC staff is pulling info from as many sources as possible in order to approve this or that person in registering. What I don't like is the method in which it acquires that information.

Why would I lie about something as trivial as that? Could it be that I registered when an admin was on, and they approved me straight off?

I also use the same e-mail addy for all of my accounts, which is readily recognizable if you know what it is.

I certainly didn't mean to imply that you were lying. And that second bit is what I believe happened there, so it doesn't seem like it's a great example of possible information comparison.
