Oh really? Somehow I get the feeling the watchdog's might be fibbing. But then..... it's really back to the old "Staff vs everyone else" isn't it?

Might be, but don't they rotate them every 6 months or so. Doesn't that kind of mean that either dozens of folks have signed onto this conspiracy, because all it would take is one watchdog to spill the beans, or there ain't a conspiracy?

Just how many folks do you have to have watching this lounge before folks start believing there might be nothing happening there? or would there ever be enough folk for that?
 
Understood. Because of the dozen or so folk that have been watchdogs, there ain't one of them that could be trusted to be honest. That's a lot of folk being spat on with that judgement Dual.

Still, it bears thinking about.

What it means is that you have a group of people who have already seen the commuity torn apart once by what was said in a private mod's lounge. The WD's will do anything to keep that from happening again. ExI members who are also members of TK being trashed in there? I absolutely believe that 100% and the WD's won't be spilling any beans because they're just trolls after all.

That's an awfully cynical view you've got there MM. Still, you're entitled to that if you want. Seems like an awfull lot of folks would be expected to have held their tongues for a long time though.

MM, if you don't mind me asking, is there anyone who ain't a prominent member of TK whose word you'd trust that nothing untoward is going on? Because I just can't see them ever making folks like Darthsickle, Coyoteugly or RobL watchdogs regardless of circumstances. So that begs the question, much like diogenes search for a single honest man, is there anyone you'd trust on Exisle to be honest about the mod lounge?
 
^ I'll call bluff here...... do you honestly think that if I were go to in that lounge and DL just one thread (of my choice) and post it for all to see.... just ONE thread.... it wouldnt cause a problem?

Probably would at that. One of the Exislers got a sig which reads that it only takes one person to take offense, and anyone frankly talking about the troubles Exisle's been having lately would be able to offend any number of folk here on TK.

Still, I ain't trying to be Exisles advocate anymore than you are. I was just wondering. I take it your answer would be no then, about an honest person on Exisle?
 
There is no such thing as an honest person anywhere. Everyone has something to hide about something.

I really don't have a "dog in this fight" (thanks Shatna ! great line)... I have no reason to back RobL CU, DS after the stunts... well, thats in the past. But as far as offending folks here at TK? :D Folks at TK dont get offended after they've been hanging out here for a while... (or they shouldnt) Staff hypocracy? Pointing that out is part of our job. ;)

Lets just say I'd have much more faith in the whole hidden forum thing if all threads were released after 6 months. Because until then... I know human nature ... of course the staff is saying things there they don't want the membership at large to see. If they were not.... the forum would be open to view.

Interesting notion. If you wanted, you could go over an get an account and suggest it. heck, with all the hemming and hawing and accusing that's being going on lately, there might just be enough popular support to get it to poll.
