I wouldn't characterize the PM as a question list. The Admin merely asked out of what he described as curiosity, and in an attempt to try to understand the appeal of Ogami by those few members who did. This was an Admin who I had noticed was quiet and non-threatening to the members and, consequently, well liked. Still, it was unusual and, as I said, I was taken aback by it.

I think I can guess who that celebrity Admin was that you ran afoul of RU. He has a short fuse, and if he takes a dislike to you, wow, he is dismissive in an insulting and condescending manner. He is Mr. Know-It-All and is quick to jump into a discussion and bring a poster up short with his my way or the highway point of view. I do believe there was some sort of dust up in the Staff Lounge, (maybe when Anakam was a Watchdog) and he resigned suddenly. This may have been what precipitated Anakam to make copies of certain threads from the Staff Lounge and her cryptic Watchdog Report she posted. When he wants to be, he can write very well and be informative. It's just when he gets irritated and you don't agree with his way of thinking that it gets a bit rude. I took a bit of singeing from him once or twice when my viewpoint on a t.v. show was not the way he saw things. There can be only one. 8)
 
Unfortunately, the pox on my head has spilled over onto others.

Effectively requested that approx. 17 EI posters receive equal action (official warnings) regarding disruptive behavior, spamming, gloating and wisecracking.
 
I already requested my account be deleted but it wasn't.

Let me see ... is suspension from hell punishment?
 
You mean you've been snitching on these 17 members via PM to the Mods/Admins as outlined in the new rules?! Wow, and you did it their way too! Cue Frankie's song.
 
They pride themselves on never deleting an account. Look at Digitalman -- he left EI in a huff after having a dust up over something or some picture or link he posted and the Admins edited it. He had always prided himself on saying that if he ever left EI in anger, he would just do it and never announce it like so many others had. Then he did the exact same thing everyone else does -- announces that he is leaving and to delete his account (Cartman's "Screw you guys, I'm going home"). Sort of the equivalent of those English movies where the person says that they are leaving and will "send for their things" they are leaving behind. I mean, who do they send to come collect their things? Deus ex machina that's who!
 
Oh lookie!! Someone changed it to Marry me, $m Gayboy! I swear, my title gets changed an awful lot. Somebody must think they are dissing me -- sad really, when I haven't a clue what the heck they are trying to insult me with. <sigh>

Oh well, I'm sure Appreciate will march her ass in there and tell me that if I must post at all I should post on The Beach but since this is a complaint I should have PMd it to the mods I believe are not fairly practicing the enforcement of their rules.

Not familiar with the Digitalman situation - or just don't remember it.

That is the problem with leaving a board because one is pissed. Anger is an investment. I'd rather just drift away because of interests elsewhere.

Look at it this way, eloisel, if they had deleted your account you would not have been able to go back and nail your Ban Demand on the front door of EI. Sometimes things just work out for the best.

Really? Do you even know what side I'm on? I'm on the side of what is fair for everybody - not just the people I happen to like at the moment or who kiss my ass. The rules and the guidelines are for EVERYONE. That includes you and everybody else who posts on that board.

I am a bad, bad, bad person because I broke a promise to myself not to subject myself to the shit on that board - not because I posted a complaint that fairly assessed the situation. Now, tell me, you ass kissing piece of shit troll - where do you do that?
