I saw it the other day. I’m not a big Potter fan, so I probably missed a lot of fan service. It doesn’t really stand as a good movie on its own as it’s mostly set up for the rest of the series, but it’s not terrible.

I’ll be interested to see how things go in the next movie, as they seemed to be setting Dumbledore and Grindelwald up as a couple, but didn’t say for sure.

I watched that 30 minute breakdown and it was way more entertaining than the film. She’s right about everything.

You're supposed to "know" that Dumbledore and Grindelwald were lovers despite them not actually saying so in the movie because they're too cowardly to outright show a gay Dumbledore (BUT ROWLING TWEETED HE WAS GAY ALL ALONG SO ITS TRUE.)

Won’t make much of an impact to change the actor for the next one. What’s one more random, “because magic” event in those movies.
