Grandtheftcow banned from AQG for one week

This has been real lovely to watch both places.

The staff needs a reset button, to mod right from, I don't know, whenever they actually needed to start. We were so innocent in early 2003. Ha.

I'd almost, almost pay to see their private forum threads right now. No way they're unified and that's why they're not all stepping up.

In Appreciate's perspective, your announcement didn't belong in AQG, but the beach since you were addressing other board members in general. That's what the beach is all about. However, what bugs me is not so much the move (which was correct by the way), it was her tone in her post to you. She made you look bad. She made it sound like you are intentionally spamming AQG and she won't tolerate it. That's some serious overreacting if you ask me.

I am not liking the Admins taking the hardball approach to this. This sort of tactic makes things worse, not better. It will only divide the board even more, and really make a mess of things if they choose to keep it up.

If anyone should have been suspended, it should have been LotS. DS got taken out for punctuation, but it's okay for LotS to write F*ck, Sh*t, and whatever else. I like the logic (or lack therof).

This is saying a lot coming from me. Those that know me over in EI know I'd defend the staff to the end. But, only if they are being mistreated or are right. In this case, they are not.

You left out "Picture Day." An announcement by a non-staff member announcing to the board wide membership that "Picture Day" is coming is perfectly fine non-spam in AQG.
 
Interesting. 5 minutes after I posted the above, "Picture Day" was moved to The Beach.

Noted: Kathy did not rail the poster and threaten her with suspension for posting that thread that had been in AQG since 9:14 p.m. yesterday.
 
Actually, you moved it 15 minutes after Raeven mentioned the thread might ought to be in The Beach, which she mentioned 5 minutes after I posted the above.

Still, noted, no threats of suspension for spamming from Kathy.

Don't think your posts here haven't been noted and filed somewhere else. You're one of us now. You've been infected. ;)

I noticed that too. But then, Kathy wasn't the one who moved the thread. Just saying, that's all. Eh, it's been crazy over there.

Today is a happy, happy, joy, joy day. Went to see "Legend of Zorro" this afternoon. Antonio Banderas is getting old, I know, but he still melts my butter.

Doesn't matter if Kathy moved QT's post or not. Even though Kathy altered her post to me to remove the dismissive clause, she reasserted her threat to suspend me and called me a spammer. If that is the position leadership is to take in that forum, then the policy should be applied to all members.
 
I read that Zorro had the plot of a No Parking sign and was basically nothing but one stunt after another. I'd advise waiting on the DVD rental.

Unfortunately, that assessment has some validity to it. When I write my critique it won't be very favorable. Without Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas starring, and the first movie being quite good, this sequel would have gone straight to rental. However, because I have the hots for Antonio, the rating will still be in the B category.

Antonio has another movie coming out soon - "Take the Lead." He plays a ballroom dance instructor and he is sexy, sexy, sexy in the promos.
 
Antonio is a very sexy man -- I much preferred him in the Mariachi movies. Everything he did in those two movies was "glistening". I may be an old woman, but not a dead one and I still appreciate a fine piece of horseflesh.
 
The EI Picture Day thread was posted in AQG last year ( the first year ) and QT posted it there to also ask if it had been noted on the calender.

It was not spam and was not meant as spam.

There was confusion over where it belonged, that I will agree with, given precedent and content.
 
So, what are you saying? Because I didn't post the exact same post last year in AQG then I am not allowed to post it this year? Further, my post is spam?
