Grandtheftcow banned from AQG for one week

What I spoke of speaks simply and only of the EI Picture Day thread. Please do not put words in my mouth.

However given the purpose of the AQG, ( a forum dedicated to Answers, Questions, Gripes ) a post announcing your absence to concentrate on school, or travel, is not appropriate to that forum. Such posts more properly belong in the Community section of EI, in my opinion.

And please let me wish you the best of luck with your classes!

Be that as it may, my post was also directly related to the events happening on AQG at the time. And, the title is Announcements, Questions, Gripes. Finally, my post did not warrant a threat of suspension for spamming.

Thank you for your well wishes on my classes otherwise.

LOL, You two, - CU, and DS, really love offing the messenger - I'm the one that sends you the courtesy notification via pm and you get so hysterical that you don't bother to note that you would not have been warned if you hadn't violated the rules.

Spam has always been a nono in OT, though I will say that at times it has not been enforced, or enforced perfectly... There were times when there was effectively only one mod in a forum that was very active, and things got missed, or let slide because the sole active mod had other things to cover.

Meh, even we mods are only human and we do make mistakes.

Naughty punctuation bans???? Spamming bans??? Complaining bans??? Not-being-nice bans??? So why do you guys waste your time there? It doesn't even sound like a fun place to troll. Kinda like trolling YesJesusLovesMe.com or some such shit. Just not much of a challenge.

The rules?? Fuck you!! Show me where in the fucking rules it says punctuation is a bannable offense. The rules are warped around to whomever the mods deserve to ban or be lenient to. You can tell a fucking wannabe lawyer owns the board.

Ru, if you really feel those are what you claim them to be please follow procedure and send a pm ( and we do advise sending the pm to multiple staff members - say just two or three ) and it will be looked into.
