Wait a minute. You guys like open, non-heavily-regulated boards. Some of you rabbit on about both TrekBBS and Slipstream's "good old days"

But you'll go to one of those (EI in this case) and deliberately drive them to the point where they become that which you hate.

How does that benefit you? I know that some of you get off on trolling (I mean d'uh!), but in doing that, you're destroying what you purport to want and then you cry about the fact that boards are heavily-regulated or the "good old days" are past.

Makes no goddamned sense to me.

But that's the 'net. Carry on.

But T'Bonz...not that you couldn't handle it, at least it kept us away from your site.

I know...but still. Just seems like you're wrecking that what you like most (open boards) by "testing" them.

Then again, I never did get trolling, just not really my thing.

And yet call me twisted, but I like most of you guys. Except Lorne.

Just kidding Lorne! Just had to say that.

P.S. Good to see CU back as CU. Just can't picture him whitewashing a fence.

You consider ExIsle an "open board"?

Now I begin to understand our many differences of opinion.

Well, I've only been familiar with the board for about a year and a half. You're correct that it has tightened up in that year and a half, but it was never an open board. That is one fucked-up place, where anything that might been deemed offensive by the thinnest-skinned poster is wiped out of existence, a la The Ministry of Truth.

That place is obsessed with controlling the speech of others.
