You should know better than most how quickly a perception can be made, and once made how easy it is to remain intact. Most EI'rs, hell most people don't post or read here, which leaves them with the name, the mission statement, and people's opinions.

Trollkingdom, doesn't exactly sound like a fluffy type of place
teh internet's lunatic fringe, makes the place seem like a 14 year olds rebellious treehouse, complete with bad spelling, and let's be honest, most folks on EI have a rather negative view of TK.

Is it shocking that people think this place is a cesspit.
 
Damn, I wrote a great thing, and I lost it.

What I tried to say was basically, there are other EI'er's, some staff, some just regular blokes like me who are also regulars here. If this were such a nasty place, would any of us be here? No way.

This is a rather interesting board. And you can't judge an entire board based on a few blokes who ran amok on EI. That's like going to EI for the first time, and only reading OT or AQG and thinking the whole board is like that. Explore TK. If you like it, great. If it's not your bottle of rum, that's cool too. Just give it a chance. It's a pretty sweet place.

To be honest, I'm not looking for another internet hangout. I barely have enough time for the ones I do go to.

Virtually every topic under the sun has it's messageboards. I'm a semi-frequent poster on various Gamefaq messageboards, several PR ones and a few other more specialised ones.

I guess that if you find a topic you're interested in, finding a messageboard isn't difficult. Though occasionally the messageboards make you rethink the topic entirely.

Let's see if the Staff can be smart and serve the community all at the same time. We all know what it took for HF to email the Admins. To not let him back in now, would be sheer folly considering the fallout that would follow. There are times to just be *smart*. I can't even imagine what could take more than 5 minutes to discuss, but they've always been a slow bunch.

It's being discussed. As soon as there is an answer HF, you'll get a response.

More like scream at each other. Jid closed that other thread, and all hell broke loose in a new one about that. I'm glad I posted my thesis before it was closed. Too bad no one understood it...
