I know that half of this country is covered in snow, but there is this thing here in the Northwest that I am going to call the Northwest Sun Guilt. People start saying things like, "Its a sunny day, I hope you got outside and enjoyed it" "You didn't stay inside did you?" I cannot list the different versions of this comment but really there is a guilt when the sun comes out if you didn't get outside and "enjoy" it.
As for the rest of the world and the Mine Field, I don't have any idea what your weather conversations sound like in your local towns.

The heat barely came on yesterday IT FELT AS COLD INSIDE AS IT DID OUTSIDE I WAS IN AGONY but the heat is working better today thank the Christy.

When I was playing Halo, I would host an all night sniper match each quarter. When the summer one rolled around I had to postpone a few hours until the house cooled down. (Like I went and drove in the car with AC on). I got notes from people asking if the AC in my house was broken! I made them aware that most people here do not own AC for their homes.

Reminds me of when I go camping. The day starts out cold and I want to wear long pants, but I know better, so I suffer with shorts in the morning until it warms up.
