It's such a shit idea that I'm expecting Zack Snyder to announce (in association with Microsoft) that they've scrapped the idea and will do Man of Steel 2 with no Batman.

Seeing as they haven't had a hit SUperman movie in 30 years and Batman has ruled the box office for almost a decade, I would hope that they would choose Batman in an either-or situation.

I like the idea of using Ben Affleck's decade age difference with Henry Cavil to make Batman a bit of a mentor for Superman. A sense of experience with the whole superhero thing may be the one advantage Batman has over Clark.
