I Answer All Questions About LOST

Heh... well both were born and have spent their entire life on the island, so far. That's another rumor drifting around, and I wouldn't be surprised... especially when you consider that the collage art in the Swan bunker bore a striking resemblence to the artwork of Aaron's father...

Ah, so you're onto the tesseract theory. I admit that the "magic-box" stuff in this episode definitley give more than a wink and a nod to the possibility of a tesseract device. There was some discussion ages back about tesseracts due to the book Sawyer was reading in one of the episodes. It was a book by Madeleine L'Engle called Wrinkle in Time which mentioned them.

Constructing a tessaract device may have been an attempt to change the laws of probablity so as to defeat the Valenzetti equation. Though that is something I just pulled out of the air right now so don't ask me to support it :)

Also, didn't Walt say something like "don't open it" to Locke when he was acting all ghostly and weird ages back? I think Walt will have something to do with all this before the end.

As for Locke's father being there... I don't see any reason to believe that it is really him. The monster has taken all sorts of forms so far and I get the feeling that the "monster" is a product of the "magic box".

Waiting for each new episode is killin' me. :(

I think I may have just found something.

Go to THF and it will take you to the Alvar Hanso statement. When you're on it right-click your mouse to bring up your flash controls and click "rewind"

I'm sure others have found this before but I just found it myself after trying to find some way off the statement.

Pretty cool, huh?

The virus will wipe out most of the human race and only those on "the list" get to survive on the Island!? Or something.

Interesting! I haven't seen anyone else talk about this anywhere.

Ah.. that makes sense then. That website is owned by ABC isn't it? I've gone there a bunch of times but haven't ever done the rewind thing.

Incidentally, has anyone here seen the movie Donnie Darko? I have not, but there's some discussion over at TrekBBS about similarities between it and Lost.

Yeah, I've seen it. Have it on DVD. It's a kick ass movie. Very trippy. I haven't actually watched it in years though. I can see why there would be discussion linked to Lost about it. It presents time travel and paradoxes in very interesting ways. It's worth a rental regardless of any possible links or inspiration that Lost may have taken from it. It's awesome.

For some reason it's extremely cheap over here. You can get it for the equivalent of about $2.50. Very good movie and it has some similarities with Lost. Come to think of it, there's a plane involved in it.

Interesting points tonight:

1. Hurley's grown a pair.
2. The Pearl was seeing more activity than we expected. They still haven't explained who left the cigarette there.
3. Nikki looked good in a bikini.
4. Sawyer the con man is back, as opposed to Sawyer the wussed out one-liner generator.
5. Juliet has nice feet.
6. Vincent returns. Everyone was too stupid to realize why he was removing the blanket.

Points that bothered me:
1. Why not tell the rest of finding a hatch with a ladder going down?
2. Why were Ben and Juliet dressed in the vagabond gear if they had no intention of meeting any of the survivors?

This was a filler show. Not bad, but not memorable other than Nikki cleavage shots. That's it.

No, I did not... but I'm not surprised. People on the internet are reporting that sound off and on in different episodes.

Keep in mind I have to watch this show with three females in the house and phones that never quit. When I BT the ep tonight, I'll try to listen for it.

Oh, this too. They didn't seem to be very interested in much of anything but finding the diamonds and being vapid. They didn't mention the Beechcraft, either.
