Masters of Sex

I know, wtf Libby?!! I know she is very unhappy, and she has every reason to be, but what is she doing?

Dr DePaul :(

Crazy episode! Wasn't expecting all the time jumps, made it feel like a season finale (or premiere.) In any time period, Bill is still horrible to women! The scene with him, err, doing Gini from behind in public reminded me of the scene with Buffy and Spike.

EJACULATE TRAJECTORY!

Bill is an asshole, I don't know why Virginia is so hooked on him. I enjoyed the time jumps, I suppose it would be kind of boring to go through everything at a normal pace.

His brother!?!?!?!?

Always good to see Phlox. Hope he has a sex scene.

Come on Libby, get yourself some black meat.

She deserves some loving.

So I guess the lady with the sealed up vagina doesn't actually have a sealed up vagina. GOOD TO KNOW.

Yeah, this last ep jumped around a lot. I wonder if Virginia really went to a psychiatrist and pretended to have a patient's problems so she could figure out how to help her.

Apparently Masters spent many years trying to cure homosexuality but he hasn't done that yet in the show...

OH, I finally caught up with Masters of Sex. I hope Barb and Lester can help each other... ALSO I wonder if Virginia will continue seeing Dr Phlox.

YES LIBBY FINALLY GOT SOME CHOCOLATE LOVING. Now he'll get murdered and it'll be her fault.

Also, not being MEAN but did Lizzy Caplan's face change in some way? She looks different. In some vague way.

Another boring episode. The stuff with the Saudi King or whatever felt like we've seen it a hundred times before? MAYBE I'M BEING TOO HARSH BUT WHO CARES.

Apparently these first two episodes weren't even supposed to happen and were the result of complicated legal wranglings?

'Masters of Sex' Boss Responds to Season 3 Criticisms, Promises Continuity - The Hollywood Reporter

We were presented with an astronomical legal hurdle this year that I can’t really speak to, except to say that there were certain things that had to be done in our storytelling that had to do with legal issues. So, we made lemonade out of lemons. The fact is that some of those events were not necessarily the story we were going to tell. But we’ve told them at the very beginning of the season, and then we move on and we pick up back where we had intended this season to start. In an odd way, those first two episodes are to explain a lot of stuff that ends up not actually being so instrumental to the storytelling, but once we were in that area, we decided to make the most of it.

So they had to create fictional children and do these two episodes to prove that the show children are different from the real children. Or something.

I liked when Bill started singing Danny Boy.
